Extra Shop becomes latest Belgian retailer to select Vusion’s solutions, soon deployed in 1,700+ stores across Belgium retail chains
February 4, 2026 – Vusion the global leader in AI-powered digitalization solutions for physical commerce, has been selected by Extra Shop to deploy its solutions in 40 of their locations in Belgium. These solutions will be installed by Vusion’s partner Proximus NXT. With this new roll-out, more than 1,700 stores from key retailers will be running Vusion’ technology in the country.
Extra Shop will deploy the Vusion platform and smart Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) throughout their stores to improve both customer and employee satisfaction. By leveraging the Vusion solutions, Extra Shop will effectively highlight specific campaigns and product information, while displaying price and promotional information at the right place and time, adapting to their customers’ expectations.
Associates will also benefit from greater productivity and a better work environment as they will be able to be guided during their restocking process thanks to geolocation and LEDs placed on each ESL.

Belgium stores across various sectors, including grocery, consumer electronics, DIY, gas stations and others, as Colruyt, Okay, Proximus shops, Mediamarkt, Jysk, and DIY retailers have already launched their digital transformation through Vusion’s cutting-edge solutions. Thanks to Vusion’s solutions based on IoT, Cloud, Data, Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, more and more Belgian retailers are improving their operational efficiency while reducing costs and waste, toward a more sustainable model, and a better experience for shoppers and employees.
The Vusion platform will enable to track, monitor and update their devices anytime, from anywhere. Extra Shop will also benefit from the seamless integration between Vusion platform and their Cisco-Meraki wireless infrastructure, leading to faster deployments and a reduced IoT footprint. Out of the 1,700 installed stores in Belgium, already 1,500 are connected to the Vusion platform.
