October 1, 2026 - As part of its digital transformation strategy, Diamantis Masoutis S.A. is expanding the implementation of Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) in partnership with Mobile Technology, Vusion's trusted partner in Greece. The initiative leverages Vusion's platform, the global leader in AI-powered digitization solutions for physical retail.

In the first phase of the program, Masoutis installed Vusion's cloud-based ESL platform in 28 stores. The initiative supports the company's strategy for a fully integrated network of "connected stores," combining Vusion's platform with Mobile Technology's expertise. The goal is more efficient store operations and a further upgrade to the shopping experience.

Food retail operates in a demanding and strictly regulated environment, with frequent legislative changes and increased requirements for pricing accuracy and transparency. Electronic shelf labels meet these requirements by enabling rapid price updates, reducing the potential for errors and delays, while strengthening transparency and reliability for the consumer. Consumers gain access to accurate, up-to-date product information, helping them make the best possible purchasing decision. In addition, reducing paper use for printing traditional labels meaningfully lowers the environmental footprint of store operations.

At the same time, automating price and shelf information updates reduces manual work and allows Masoutis' people to focus on higher value-added activities, such as customer service and the overall improvement of the in-store experience.

Mr. Theodoros Gerostergioudis, CEO of Diamantis Masoutis S.A., stated: "Digital transformation is a strategic priority for Masoutis. Our goal is to build strong and sustainable foundations that will reinforce our operational excellence, empower our people, and continuously enhance the value we offer our customers. Through targeted investments and reliable partnerships, we are shaping a resilient, future-oriented retail model."

Mr. Apostolos Doxanidis, IT Director of Diamantis Masoutis S.A., stated: "Electronic shelf labels represent an important step in our company's digital transformation journey. Technology does not replace the contribution of our people — it supports them with modern tools, so they can focus on service and on improving the consumer experience. With respect for our team and a vision for the future, we continue to invest in innovations that improve day-to-day operations and quality of service."

Mr. Panagiotis Fousas, Sales Manager at Mobile Technology, stated: "This project reflects the perfect alignment between technology, local expertise, and digitization strategy. It is a particular honor for us to partner with D. Masoutis and Vusion to develop a scalable digital foundation that will continue to support the company's future ambitions."

Mr. Sébastien Fourcy, SEVP EMEA at Vusion, stated: "We are proud that Masoutis chose Vusion's technologies to support its digital transformation, which also confirms the strength and suitability of our solutions for the Greek market. This project also highlights the importance of strong local expertise and execution, with Mobile Technology playing a decisive role in the successful implementation and long-term delivery of added value."
